Winterfest is the ultimate family holiday celebration in Beaver Creek. It starts a on December 16th and goes on until January the 6th. For the older children BC Loves Teens Too is an really great program. Skiing and riding on the mountain are great activities for this age group but the evenings can prove to be challenging when you have teenagers with you. You want to keep them entertain, safe and happy at the same time. Delivering just that, BC loves teens too program, available between December 27 and 29, gives your teenagers an opportunity for independence — a fun night spent with peers doing mountain inspired activities. The activity scheduled for the 27th is Virtual Reality gaming at SPACE in Edwards. The facility is host to HTC Vive units that allow onlookers to see exactly what the gamer is seeing. The event will end with pizza at SPACE before departing back to Beaver Creek. On the 28th teens are invited to join the Teen Trick Class at The Anti-Gravity Center in Edwards. This state-of-the-art center is the new training facility for ski and snowboard tricks, flips and stunts. Warm up on the slack lines or in the foam pit, then join certified instructors for a 45 minute trick class. The event ends with down time at Rimini Chocolate & Gelato. The Vilar Performance Art Center in Beaver Creek is a great option for a unforgettable family evening. Their holiday line up starts on December 16 with The Nutcracker presented by Vail Friends of Dance. Enjoy falling snow and a parade of international dances at this holiday classic. Sparkling costumes and impressive choreography will simply take your breath away. On the the 23d VPAC brings back everybody's favorite Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol. It is the perfect family holiday event — filled with beloved music of the season, superb performance, and amazing artistry, this Carol is a production not to be missed. Cirque Dreams Holidaze is coming to Beaver Creek on December 30 for another great family show. This critically-acclaimed holiday stage extravaganza is a cirque spectacle, Broadway musical and family show all in one.
If you want to welcome the new year in style with your entire family by your side the Beaver Creek New Year'e Eve Bash at the Park Hayatt is the place to be. Begin the evening with a glow stick ski-down Beaver Creek mountain followed by a torchlight parade and a dazzling fireworks display. Continue the fun in Gerald R. Ford Hall where there is something for everyone in the family. Children and teen activities including games, crafts and more are complemented with a buffet of their favorites. Adults are welcomed with signature cocktails, an array of hors d’oeuvres and dining options, and endless music. The evening will conclude with a balloon drop at midnight.
