All lifts now running at Vail

Posted by Polina LaConte on Dec 27, 2015 11:11:42 PM

With nearly 3 feet of snow in the last week, Vail now has all lifts running and more than 5,000 acres available for skiing and snowboarding.

New openings include Inner and Outer Mongolia Bowl and the lift - #22, commonly known as "The Poma" - and the Golden Peak Terrain Park, as well as the runs 38, Forever, and the skier tunnel at Golden Peak. The resort is currently working on the Bwana Terrain Park and anticipates having it open before the New Year, conditions permitting.

The snow should stay fresh throughout the remaining days of 2015 as temperatures are expected to remain low. There is a chance of snow in the forecast for Monday and Tuesday.

Here's a video Vail made showcasing all the snow the resort has received in the last week.
