The Winter Snowshoe Edition of the Beaver Creek Mountain Running Series kicks off on Sunday, Jan. 3, 2016. Categories include a 10k, 5k, and a kids 1k. Registration cost includes your race entry, post race lunch, raffle, and special swag at each event.
The Sunday Jan. 3 race is the first in the three-race series and will take place our of Creekside Park in Beaver Creek. Awards will be given to the top 3 men and women in each age bracket for the 5K and 10k races. All athletes will be entered into the raffle at the post party where you will also receive a post race meal provided by the Dusty Boot and the Metropolitan. The second and third races in the series will take place on Jan. 31 and Feb. 28.
The Beaver Creek Running Series: Snowshoe Edition is brought to you by Aquafina and welcomes first-time snowshoers, world class snowshoe athletes, kids of all ages and everyone in between. The snowshoe series features slopeside sponsor expos and a post-event plaza party for all participants to enjoy a variety of giveaways and a post-race meal. Arrive early on race day to try out the latest snowshoes demos from Atlas Snowshoes. They are available on a first come/first served basis at the start/finish expo.
