Alterra Announces the Ikon Pass, and We Can't Wait!

Alterra Mountain Company, the new alliance between Aspen Skiing Company and KSL, is making big waves today with the announcement of it's new season pass for the 2018-2019 Season. With a HUGE lineup of 23 of the best resorts in North America, ski enthusiasts everywhere are daydreaming about an epic season already.

The Ikon pass includes all of Alterra's mountain destinations. Guests can ski at Steamboat Springs, Winter Park, Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows, Mammoth Mountain, June Mountain, Big Bear Mountain Resort, Stratton, Snowshoe, Mont Tremblant, Blue Mountain, Deer Valley , and CMH Heli-Skiing & Summer Adventures.

In addition, the Ikon Pass will include the partner resorts of Aspen Snowmass, Copper Mountain Resort, Eldora Mountain Resort, Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, Big Sky Resort, Killington Resort, Sunday River, Sugarloaf, Loon Mountain Resort, Alta Ski Area, and Snowbird.

Each of these resorts is celebrated for their local flavor and fantastic conditions in their area. This pass will give skiers an opportunity to branch out from their tried-and-true favorites and experience some truly legendary resorts, all on the same season pass. Whether you're an east-coaster who gets most of their days in at Killington but has been dreaming of a week in Aspen Snowmass, or a Denverite who loves driving up to Winter Park but would love to hop on a flight to Check out Deer Valley or Jackson Hole, this pass offers amazing opportunities to make your ski daydreams reality.

We're still waiting to hear on the price for the full pass as well as any partial levels, but we'll be sure to keep you updated. One thing's for sure though, this variety of skiing is nearly priceless!
