Vail native Sarah Schleper is not only a 4-time Olympian veteran of the U.S. Ski Team and World Cup podium finisher, she's also team Mexico's finest downhiller.

The 36-year-old ski racer and mother of two is part of the Schleper family of talented Vail-raised kids, and after retiring from the U.S Ski Team she attained Mexican citizenship through her husband, a Mexican national, and joined the Mexican ski team. At the 2015 World Alpine Ski Championships in Beaver Creek, Schleper raced in front of her home crowd for team Mexico, and has plans to race in her fifth Olympics in 2018, this time for team Mexico.

Schleper is still racing and just this week she won an International Ski Federation sanctioned downhill race. Here's the video from that race.
