Beaver Creek will open for summer on June 10 with an array of summer activities and events providing fun for all ages and all ability levels, on and off the mountain. With 50 miles of mountain bike and 62 miles of hiking trails, 4x4 tours, horseback riding, rock climbing, swimming, whitewater rafting, kayaking, fly-fishing, golfing, tennis, famous rodeos, live music, fine dining, culinary and wine festivals, summer in the Rocky Mountains is as restorative as it is invigorating.

Two of the finest mountain golf courses are slated to open at the onset of May. Guests can begin enjoying awe-inspiring alpine backdrops, impeccably-maintained greens and fairways, opulent fine-dining establishments and first-class guest service starting on Friday, May 5, at Beaver Creek Golf Club, and Friday, May 12, at Red Sky Ranch & Golf Club.
“Upgrading this essential beginner lift will provide high-speed lift access to the amazing beginner and intermediate terrain at the top of Beaver Creek, increasing capacity and making for a seamless lift experience for our guests on the hill,” said Beth Howard, chief operating officer of Beaver Creek Resort. “We expect this improvement to take significant volume off Cinch Express, Beaver Creek’s second most-popular lift, and it really is an improvement befitting of Beaver Creek’s luxury, family experience, as it enhances a key beginner and family area of our mountain.”
Vail Resorts continues to raise the bar for skiers and riders as the Company invested approximately $100 million in the guest experience for this current winter season across its resorts, bringing its five-year, industry-leading resort investment total to more than $500 million across the Company. The most significant recent improvements included the upgrade of Sun Up Express (#9) at Vail, a new restaurant on Peak 7 at Breckenridge, significant renovations to the guest rooms of The Pines Lodge, A RockResort at Beaver Creek, and $13 million to completely re-imagine the guest experience at Wilmot Mountain, located near Chicago.
Plans for capital improvements at Beaver Creek Resort are subject to U.S. Forest Service approval. Additional details on the design and approval of these proposed improvements will be available in the coming months.

The Vail Recreation District's Athletic Club at the Westin Mountain Bike Race Series will wrap up the summer season of racing on Wednesday, August 24 with the Beaver Creek Blast. The Beaver Creek Blast is the final race of the seven-race series, which is presented by Athletic Club at the Westin, East West Destination Hospitality, Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield and The Dusty Boot.
Vail Mountain and Beaver Creek Resort announced operating dates for the resorts’ 2016-2017 ski and snowboard season. Vail will be open from Friday, Nov. 18, 2016, through Sunday, April 23, 2017. Beaver Creek will operate from Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2016, through Sunday, April 16, 2017.

Fresh off his starring role in Warren Miller Entertainment's 66th snowsports film "Chasing Shadows," Vail resident Chris Anthony will kick off two exciting events in Vail on Jan. 6 and Jan 8.
On Jan 6th, join Anthony as he shares his secrets to staying youthful, something we all could learn and benefit from. Anthony will be joined by his friend Dr. Lauren Bramley, a leading Anti-Aging doctor. Regenerative medicine Dr. Thos Evans from the Steadman Clinic will also make a special appearance.
Anthony has been starring in Warren Miller movies for the last 26 years, and to maintain his extreme skiing ability he has had to learn a thing or two about staying youthful. He been working with Dr. Lauren since July when he made a special trip to Hong Kong to undergo some Regenerative Procedures and have his blood studied. "The results have been amazing," he said.
Then, two days later in Beaver Creek, Anthony will have a starring role in TEDxVail, which takes place at the Vilar Center from 2:00-9:00 p.m. The event features four unique sessions with inspirational talks by local and global thought-leaders, captivating live performances and interactive breakout sessions, all designed to spark deep discussion and connection amongst attendees.
