Following more than 18 feet of snow this season, including almost six feet during the month of January, Vail Mountain’s incredible snow conditions and a lineup of world-class events will set the resort up for a strong second half of the 2015-2016 ski and snowboard season. Vail Mountain, one of the largest ski resorts in the world, will transition to its spring operating schedule beginning Saturday, Feb. 13. With the shift in operating hours, the majority of front side lifts will close at 4 p.m., the Back Bowls and Game Creek Bowl will close at 3:30 p.m. and Blue Sky Basin
