Drop in at the NEW Vail Skatepark, located at the bottom level of the Lionshead parking structure. It's free and open to skaters of all ages, summer through fall, dawn to dusk. Helmets are required. LionsHead Skatepark by California Skateparks
Learn to skateboard at the Vail Skate park with instructors who will teach everything from basic skills and etiquette to perfecting a boardslide or kickflip. Skateboards and helmets are required, and wrist guards and knee pads are recommended. Private instruction is also available for $50 per hour and $10 each additional skater.
